Aaron Dailey, Lead Elder
Preaching and Theology Pastor

Role: The Preaching and Theology Pastor’s role is to set vision for the church and oversee all aspects of the preaching and teaching to insure the church body is being taught the gospel.
“I am a Pastor/Missionary Kid with 5 brothers. My family is a great blessing and has passed down a strong Godly heritage. I felt God’s calling to preach at the age of 14 years old. God graciously worked on my heart and delivered me from a spirit of religion that has freed me from slavery and empowered me to be his son. I have quite a diverse theological background, I graduated from Christ For the Nations Bible Institute in Dallas Texas and then finished my Bachelors degree in Theology at Vision International University. While at CFNI I met and fell in love with my wife, Dana Dailey. She is a gift from God and she is an amazing ministry partner and mother to our 5 children.
In 2002, at the age of 24 I planted a church called New Generation. Through God’s grace and providence, He moved on our heart to replant this church as a team of elders with deeper theological distinctives, a clearer discipleship strategy, and a more organic missional model. So in 2008 we started over with a team of elder’s and a strong core of people as Life Connection Church and connected to the Acts 29 Network in 2010.
My passion as the Lead Elder and Pastor of Teaching and Theology is to converge strong reformed gospel teaching with a passionate Spirit-filled, Spirit-led expression. I also have a deep desire to be a church community that is a family of missionary servants. We have a love for Phoenix specifically the inner city of Phoenix and love being a diverse community.”

Kyle Campos, Elder
Worship Pastor, Dir. of Finances

Role: The Worship Pastor’s role is to oversee all aspects of the arts, lead and develop creative expression in response to the gospel, and to train up bands and artists inside of LCC for the edification of this body and for the city Phoenix.
“I’m a pastor’s kid, raised in the Vineyard church in Lompoc CA. I started playing in bands and leading worship in the 8th grade and knew early on it was something God had called me to. After graduating high school in 1998 I moved to Santa Barbara to pursue my soccer career and schooling but God had very different plans for me. I started leading worship at the Santa Barbara vineyard, began my Software Engineering career, met this beautiful lady named Melissa, married her in 2001 and had our first child in 2003.
Towards the end of 2004 God quite abruptly told us to move away from that beautiful beach town where both my wife and I had been born, and to move out here to the desert. Not something either of us had ever dreamed of doing, but the call was clear. We came to Life Connection Church in September of 2004 and knew it was where God wanted to plant us. It’s been our great joy serving this body in whatever ways God’s allowed and we look forward to all that lies ahead.”

Dave Johnson, Elder
Executive Pastor

Role: The Executive Pastor’s primary role falls under the administrative and executive branch of the church. I’m the guy looking for organization, structure, accountability for elders and volunteers, and the equipping of each of you to use the gifts God has given you to help grow His Church.
“I am blessed to be the husband to Lisa, my childhood sweetheart! We were married in 1986 (a quarter of a century–wow) and I am proud and thankful to be Daddy to three grown daughters and Grandpa to one amazing grandson. My Dad is both a retired pastor of 50 years and was a missionary to India for over a decade. I have served over the past 28 years as worship pastor, youth pastor, executive pastor and lead pastor. I hope I bring some solid experience from the business world as a Financial Advisor for the past 21 years. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Finance and a minor in Banking. I also completed 1 year of Biblical Studies at Trinity College and Seminary in Indiana.
In my previous life, I was a vocalist with the boy band, Johnson Brothers (aka Brothers for God, aka Resurrection Power, aka REZ Power–give me a break), and had THREE hit songs that aired in the 80′s only on one local radio station, KJESUS in Podunk California. OK, there were NO HITS. What? You haven’t heard of us? Are you sure? I love to read and listen to classical music (at the same time)…My favorite movie is “Dumb and Dumber” and I LOVE Cheetos! I bet you didn’t know that?”

Josh Dailey, Elder
Community & Missions Pastor

Role: The Community & Missions Pastor’s role is to oversee, train and equip our gospel communities to insure that our church body’s orthopraxy is in line with our orthodoxy, or in other words to live out the gospel.
“I grew up in a church planter’s home. My father was very intentional about including us in fulfilling the mission of God. From a young age we were encouraged to use every resource that God had given us for the advancement of God’s Kingdom. At age five with a simple but very real revelation of the cross I dedicated my life to Jesus.
At age 13 I knew I felt the call to spend my life equipping the saints for the work of the ministry. After High school I spent 2 years interning in Church plants while completing my Associates of Arts, degree in Theological Studies. I then married my High School sweat heart and began serving as youth pastor at a church plant in Northern California. In 2003 we moved to Phoenix specifically to serve at Life Connection Church. In my time here I fell in love with video production and the visual arts and eventually started my own production company, Mediaf15teen.
I have come to realize that the Church in community is God’s plan to reach the world with the good news of the gospel. With that understanding in 2010 I began overseeing our gospel communities and missional engagement.”
