(1) What is a testimony of something God has started in you in the past few weeks?

(2) Do you have a fear of not being able to complete what God has started in you?

(3) Do you see a pattern of quitting, burn out, or back sliding in your past?

(4) What did God teach you on sunday about endurance?

(5) What are the biggest things that keep you motivated in hard times to keep going?

(6) What are some areas of prayer that we can join with you in that you are facing right now?

This series is something that I look forward to going thru. Why? Because I need to learn to keeping going after having an experience with God instead of sitting down and stopping there. I have been around long enough to see passion fade away in myself and in others. But I did not know how to keep from cooling off once I came from under the umbrella of the “experience.”
It will be good to learn that one can experience God and then experience Him even more in every day (and sometimes mundane) life.

I have had a pattern in my life of a sprinter, I get the passion fire and take off with it. But then I hit the wall. Not only in my spiritual life but in the physical as well, I take off on a diet and after a few weeks I hit the wall, a purchased a 55 willys and it is sitting in our garage for two years. I need to work on my conditioning. I need to make it the the third and fourth round in my spiritual and physical endeavors. But I am definitely working and training my body and spirit for the whole race and not just the sprint.

Wow, God is teaching me so much right now about how quick I am to give up on things when I don’t see results right away. I’m the type of person that wants to see a clear beginning, middle and end to things and when things take longer than I think they should I get frustrated and want to give up. God is truly teaching me patience and reliance on Him which is proving to be a hard lesson for me to grasp with all of my being. There are times when I feel like I’ve given God everything but then I find myself pulling things back into my own grasp bit by bit. God is so good that He continues to work on my selfish, prideful, controlling ways! He is the ultimate example of patience, just look how patient He has to be with all of us, and there are so many times in scripture that He shows us how perfect His timing is and how we constantly miss what He has for us when we try to jump ahead of His plan. I’m rambling now because there is so much I want to say but really all I can say is thank you Jesus! Thank you for being my example in EVERY part of life!

Group went so well! I am so blessed to be apart of this church. We had some real break through with a huge connection between giving up rather than enduring because of fear. Fear of failure is stopping some of the ladies from even beginning! Those questions really helped expose some real issues.

I love group! God is so wonderful how he guides things. You have to make it a priority. It’s really where the rubber meets the road. It allows you to implement the message into your day to day life. I love how the questions get things going! Thanks Aaron.
